O Presidente da Câmara Municipal de Tondela, dr. José António Gomes de Jesus, presidiu no passado dia 16 de setembro, aos festejos do 93º aniversário desta Associação, uma efeméride que serviu para enaltecer, a grandeza desta Corporação, o altruísmo, a entrega, a generosidade e o compromisso com os outros.
Para além do edil Tondelense, marcaram presença alguns dos vereadores da Câmara Municipal, os autarcas das Freguesias, Tondela e Nandufe, Ferreiros do Dão, Tonda e Dardavaz. Em representação da ANPC o 2º Codis, Senhor Rui Nogueira, o Presidente da Federação dos Bombeiros do Distrito de Viseu, dr. José Amaro, o representante da Liga dos Bombeiros Portugueses, o Comandante José Requeijo.
Para além das individualidades referenciadas, estiveram presentes os elementos de Corporações vizinhas nomeadamente, Campo de Besteiros, Carregal do Sal, Santa Comba Dão, Mortágua, Lagares da Beira, Penalva do Castelo e Lamego.
As comemorações iniciaram-se com o hastear das bandeiras, a romagem ao cemitério em homenagem aos sócios, bombeiros e diretores já falecidos. Os festejos prosseguiram, integrados no dia da cidade, com a habitual missa solene, na Igreja matriz, celebrada pelo pároco João Carlos. Em seguida os festejos continuaram com a respetivo “batismo” de duas novas viaturas, uma ABSC e uma ABTM, os veículos foram apadrinhados por Amílcar Costa e António Neves “Charrelo”este a título póstumo.

Após a receção às entidades convidadas, passou-se ao desfile motorizado das viaturas que culminou com o almoço convívio que decorreu num ambiente aprazível.

No período da tarde, realizou-se a sessão solene evocativa ao aniversário com os discursos habituais. Antes do encerramento da sessão, houve as seguintes promoções:
